Three Calvary students performed as part of the Louisiana Music Educators' Association District 8 Middle School Honors Band recently. Those from Calvary performing were Josh Edavettal and Leah Head, both eighth graders and Michael Le, a sixth grader. The performance, held at Captain Shreve High School, was under the direction of guest conductor Daniel Eitmann. Eitmann is the director of the award winning Northshore High School Band in the New Orleans area. "We are very proud of them. It took a lot of hard work and dedication for them to earn this honor," Calvary band director Denita Barry said. |
